An Overland "Run" for Hurricane Relief
As we dreamt up the idea of the “Vannonball Run,” we knew we wanted our overlanding adventure to be more than just fun - we wanted to do some good in the world. As Hurricane Season approached and storms began to make their way across the Southeast, devastating our neighboring states and displacing numerous Storyteller owners, it became clear to our team that Vannonball Run would need to be an effort to raise funds for those affected by these disastrous storms.

As our team makes its way across the 4,866 adventurous miles, we hope you will join us in donating to The American Red Cross. One penny donated per mile driven adds up to a donation of $48.66. However, if you can give more, please do.
Our hearts and minds are with our neighboring Southeast states and all those affected by these disastrous storms.
The Inaugural Vannonball Run
In 1981, the world was introduced to the legendary “Cannonball Run” - a 3,000 mile automobile race across the US from East Coast to West Coast. Competing teams drove with lead feet, attempted to disguise themselves in alternative racing mobiles that may not be suspected by the police (see JJ McClure and his ambulance) while trying to trip one another up with shenanigans galore.

The Vannonball Run takes its inspiration from the Cannonball Run but turns it upside down & backwards. Instead of breaking laws and racing one another, participants will honor the speed limit and join the caravan. Instead of racing for time, we’ll “run” for a cause – raising funds for The American Red Cross while chasing sidequests that take us to the lowest point in Death Valley and to the highest pass we can reach in the Rockies.
